Tresa handles a wide range of litigated cases, including family law matters, commercial litigation, and medical malpractice defense, throughout Mississippi, in both state and federal courts. In her 11 years of practice, she has tried cases in more than twelve different Mississippi counties. Tresa’s practice covers all aspects of divorce, custody, marital and pre-marital contracts, commercial transactions, risk management, and claims litigation.

Born in Jackson, Mississippi, Tresa graduated with honors from the University of Virginia, where she served as a Cavalier Daily news reporter, and graduated, cum laude, from the University of Mississippi School of Law, where she served as executive editor of the Mississippi Law Journal. Tresa joined the Mississippi Bar in 2007 and is admitted to practice in all state and federal courts in Mississippi and in the United States Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit. Tresa is a member of the American Bar Association, the Capital Area Bar Association, the Rankin County Bar Association, and the University of Mississippi Bessie Young Council. Tresa was recognized in 2012 by Mid-South Super Lawyers as a “Rising Star” in the area of family law, and she has been a frequent speaker at legal education events on state evidentiary rules, escalation clauses, and domestic relations/mediation issues.
